In the Senate, Sen. DeMint continues to have a hold on Obama’s TSA chief Erroll Southers, despite attacks from Sen. McCaskill and numerous other liberal cohorts. DeMint and other conservatives are wary of Southers penchant for unions and have asked him to promise to oppose granting collective-bargaining rights to TSA employees.
